Diana Vreeland the first fashion editor

Before Anna Wintour, Grace Coddinghton and Carine Roitfeld there was Diana Vreeland. This woman created the role of Fashion editor. She started at Harper's Bazaar writing the famous column 'Why don't you' and later on became editor in chief. During her Harper's Bazaar days she trusted -then 19- now legend photographer Richard Avedon. Together they created iconic photos who until now lots of magazine use as inspiration for their editorials.Diana left Bazaar and continued at Vogue , she made the magazine cool and also made it ''  VOGUE '' the fashion bible we know nowadays. While i was killing my free time on you tube i found the documentary 'The eye has to travel' about the life of this amazing woman. Definitely a fashion lover's must watch. Make some pop- corn sit back relax and let the eye travel!

Enjoy
