The one i met Cara Delevinge
I wasn't in the mood for fashion week i couldn't find anything to wear and i requested invitations from the PR's one week before the shows started.Of course everyone replied that they couldn't accommodate because i requested late.I told my self to pretend that is a normal week like all the other weeks but a friend rang me today and she made me realize what i was missing.The Burberry show was starting at 15:30 o'clock and i left home at 15:00 i was there at 15:50 so i missed everyone arriving.We were standing outside trying to take a sneak peak behind the paparazzi.The show was over and the madness started , paparazzi screaming there lungs out but i managed to concentrate and i saw among others Rita Ora, Keira Knightley Franca Sozzani, Miroslava Duma , Suki Waterhouse exiting the show , i even pointed Olivia Palermo to a paparazzi !!Even if i didn't got a chance to see the show the feeling of being among those people was amazing! I was getting really cold and a bit bored because all the major personalities left but i was wrong!(I don't have lots of favorite models i love Kate Moss and i like some others but one girl managed to make me love her the way i love Kate ,the one and only Cara Delevingne, and she was there in front of me).The paparazzi and the crowd went crazy all you could here was ''Caaraaa ... Caraaa'' everywhere.She was really cool and funny, she was eating a sandwich and talking to her fans she even took a photo with a fan who was crying when he saw her and when she left he told him ''promise me no more tears'' !!

Heidi drops the Yves from Yves Saint Laurent
Stefano Pilati left and Heidi Slimane took over at YSL. Heidi announced that he will design the french iconic brand from his L.A studio and shockingly changed the name of the main line to Saint Laurent Paris(see my reaction here) followed with a boring logo and his first collection for the Parisian house who didn't manage to wow the fashion world.
Nicolas Ghesquiere Balenciaga no more
We were shocked when we heard Ghesquire will no longer be the Creative director at Balenciaga a position he had since 1997. He also left without announcing his next move. Rumor has it he will launch his own line.!!
Cara - The new Kate Moss?
Cara Delevingne was the girl of the season! From runway shows to campaigns to a movie this young London born beauty was the most talk about model this season . Cara also won British model of the year at British fashion awards.

After one year since the Galliano scandal finally Dior appointed a creative director and it was non other than Raf Simons who accepted to step in Galliano's shoes. Raf presented a new modern twist at Christian Dior's legendary ''New Look''.

I don't know if it was me but i felt Lana was everywhere this year from her H&M campaign to gracing what it felt like a million covers (Vogue Uk, Vogue Australia,Interview Russia) and releasing epic music video after epic music video.

I was so happy when i checked the new top 50 list on models.com and saw Joan Smalls being number 1.

H&M released two huge designer collections this year one with the Italian house of Marni and the other one with the mysterious Martin Margiela. Blair got her happy ending in Ellie Saab
I was sad to see one of my favorite shows coming to an end but at least my beloved couple got their happy ending.Blair married Chuck in a light blue lace Ellie Saab gown from the designers Summer 2012 Couture collection. " Gossip Girl 's costume designer Eric Daman told InStyle.com.
"When I saw the Elie Saab dress finally chosen for Blair's wedding to Chuck, it was absolutely perfect for her, "It needed to feel like old world glamour meets contemporary high fashion." Chanel S/S 2013
Having to design for a brand with this kind of heritage and iconic status for such a long time (since 1983) its not the easiest thing for a designer.Karl Lagerfeld every season has to reinvent the Chanel tweed jacket and use chains , camellias and pearls, elements which are synonymous with the brand. For this collection Karl didn't use any chains or camellias he just kept the pearls.Big chunky pearl necklaces and bracelets completed almost every outfit and also used on the hair.Pearls mixed with the Chanel tweed cropped jacket worn with leather gloves.Karl accomplished once again to make it look modern and youthful with a rock edge.Thirteen -almost life size- wind turbines were placed across the runway at the Grand Palais venue.For a second i thought that the collection will have an ecological message but when the first model walked the runway i second-guessed my self.After a few more looks the ecological message was found!A dress was mimicking the solar panel design of the catwalk through black and blue sequins. That's just as eco as Chanel can get!The showstopper pieces were the semi transparent hats made from PVC and the Lego like clutch.One item accomplished to leave everyone speechless a half hula hoop half bag which completed the swimsuit of the collection.I read a comment on the Tfs about this ''beach bag'' naming it Anna dello Russo by the pool!Karl in my opinion created a great and wearable pret-a-porter Summer collection which i think will have big commercial and editorial success.
